By His Hands We Are Healed

By His Hands We Are Healed (Peace and Joy in Christ)
From his wounds we are healed. The God of the Bible and the God of Christianity also cares about our bodies. All the churches of the world have believed throughout history that God still heals the sick in the name of Jesus, and there are millions of testimonies about this. Today, God is the same God and one of the blessings that the wounds of Christ pierced by His hands give us is divine healing. By believing in the blood of Christ, we can ask for physical and spiritual healing for ourselves and others. We should not doubt that Jesus Christ is God.

Dealing With Lust and Sexual Sins

Dealing With Lust and Sexual Sins (Youth)
Lust and adultery are the greatest sins because they dishonour the marriage that God has declared holy, and God hates this act. Lust and adultery lead people to destruction and debauchery. When we give in to our lustful desires, we may hurt ourselves and others and cause our relationships with friends and relatives to be dark. Lust and adultery can also have bad social consequences. Lust causes families to fall apart. It causes enmity between husband and wife, between parents and children. Maybe the families that based on intimacy and love, the pollen of lust and adultery has destroyed the foundation of these families.

Shut Up and Don't Complain! (Peace and Joy in Christ)
What concerns us is how we stand up to the trials of our lives. To be proud before the Lord Jesus Christ who is coming. Let's not forget that these life tests bring us closer to God. Do not forget that silence is the best tool to fight in difficult times of life. It is good for a person to hope and silently wait for salvation from God. Today, if you are in pain and moaning and want to hear God's voice, trust in Jesus Christ and refer to His word; He is waiting for you.

A Husband's Responsibility to His Wife

A Husband's Responsibility to His Wife (With You)
When a man gets married, he should love and care for his wife as he loves and cares for himself. Anyone who loves his wife, loves himself. After marriage, the husband and wife become one, so the man ought to love his wife just as he loves his own body. As a man loves his body, he should love, nourish, and cherish his wife in the same way. This is the best guarantee for a happy and successful marriage. God created a woman so that her husband would love her and take care of her, not so that her husband would mistreat her.

God's Law

God's Law (With You)
The law was a complete foundation of laws and rules that God gave the Prophet Moses to communicate to the people of Israel. The law included specific and binding details that the people of Israel were expected to keep as their part in the covenant of Mount Sinai. It is important to understand why God gave the law to the people of Israel, as well as the relationship between the law and the Abrahamic covenant. We have said that the covenant that God had established with Abraham was unconditional. This covenant was fully based on God's grace. There was nothing Abraham had to do to be chosen by God and to be a part of the covenant with him.

How Can I Become a Follower of Christ? Part II

How Can I Become a Follower of Christ? Part II (With You)
Why we should read the Bible? How important it is for us to study the Word of God? After believing in Jesus Christ the first step to take is studying the Bible to grow and to know God. We need to do this in a systematic way. How much time we spend daily reading the Bible is related to how much we grow in our faith and new life in Christ.

True Faith

True Faith (With You)
God allows His children to encounter spiritual trials and experiences in order to train us. We may have become lazy in our spiritual life, or we may have strayed away from Him for a time. God can use difficult spiritual experiences to bring us back to His way. But when these hardships come upon us, we must not lose faith. On the contrary, it is up to us to praise God with thanksgiving and joy in the midst of the tough times of life, because we know that these trials will strengthen our faith and increase our patience.

Does God Tempt Man?

Does God Tempt Man? (With You)
If we do not stand against temptations and patiently resist them, we will fall into the trap of sin. Temptation is not a sin in itself. But if we submit to the desires and lusts of our hearts during temptation, we will certainly fall into sin. Sin lives in sinful humanity. When we obey the temptation and put it into practice, we will be deprived of the crown of life.

Underground Sidewalks or Garbage Dumps

Underground Sidewalks or Garbage Dumps (Colour of Life)
Underground sidewalks are usually built to help pedestrians cross streets easily and safely. But in many parts of Kabul, these underground sidewalks, costing millions of Afghanis from the municipal budget, cannot be used because of the disregard of people and officials. Even worse, the underground walkways in districts 11 and 15 of the city of Kabul have become garbage dumps. Disregard for cleanliness as well as lack of familiarity with urban culture are among the factors that have caused pollution and the accumulation of waste all over the city.

In a Country Where Widows Abound and Suffer

In a Country Where Widows Abound and Suffer (Colour of Life)
A widow or widower is someone who loses their life partner. Being a widow in Afghanistan means being alone, hated and even guilty. When a woman loses her husband at a young age, she not only faces economic problems, but also a change in the way society, her husband's family and, in some cases, her own paternal family treat her. Superstitious beliefs in the community restrict her even more. The word "widow" usually has a negative derogatory connotation in oral culture. This comes from a male-dominated society where men see themselves as superior to women. It is true, the word "widow" or “widower” means a woman or a man who has lost their spouse, but in our society the connotation for a woman is entirely different than for a man. Actually, no one calls a man whose wife died a widower.

James 1:1-8 - Faith and Wisdom

James 1:1-8 - Faith and Wisdom (James for Everyone)
The Challenge of Faith Coping with challenges, temptations, and trials by three weapons of faith, patience, and wisdom! I remember standing on the beach one day thinking about the waves crashing on the beach. These large, swollen tubular waves of water, which had begun their journey from afar, vanished one after another as they hit the shore. Everyone standing on the shore thought with a superficial glance that these waves were the result of tides in the sea. But in fact, the main cause of these waves was not just the tides inside the sea, but the result of winds blowing on the water. In fact, the winds put water in their hands and brought them to dance, which we saw in the form of waves. The water waves themselves do not have the power to travel long distances from the pipeline to the shore. Rather, they are the random product of other forces.

Faith and Wisdom

Faith and Wisdom (The Epistle of James: Faith That Works)
In James 1:1-8 we read that we should be happy when we have tests and difficulties during sharing our faith. At the same time, we should ask God to give us wisdom. God’s wisdom is different than worldly knowledge or information. God’s wisdom reveals to us God’s will and his heart to us. As believers, we need God’s wisdom in our daily lives.

James 1:9-18 - Trials and Temptations

James 1:9-18 - Trials and Temptations (James for Everyone)
When Jacob mentions the trap of the world, he has in mind two types of trap of the world The first is the trap of wealth and the second is the trap of real temptation. The two traps are actually completely interconnected. For example, when a person is tempted to get rich quick, he turns to theft and betrayal. Jacob warns us that the intense and intense motives for gaining wealth are truly deceptive. They are like colorful, acceptable and beautiful flowers that grow on the slopes and plains of today and do not understand the so-called tomorrow, even sooner than they disappear only when the sun shines on them. The question is, what is the result? What is sustainable?

Poverty and Wealth (The Epistle of James: Faith That Works)
The Poor and the rich both rely on God in their daily lives. If we are poor or rich, we should not compare ourselves to others. God give a warning about being rich and proud. When believers are rich, they should be humble because everything they have is from God. God is the source of our blessings. If we are poor we should not loose heart because God is our provider. Poor and rich should give their lives to the Lord on a daily basis.

When our arms or legs are broken, it may heal, but bad speech or speech can do irreparable damage to us. For example, someone tarnishes our name with bad words. Or someone lies about us and others believe it, and this is much more deadly and destructive than the damage of stone and wood. You may lose your job when people lie about you and your co-workers and bosses believe you. Your friends, relatives, and even family members may be far away.

James 1:19-27 teaches us some important lessons about living our faith. When we are in the midst of difficulties, we get angry and try to react on emotions but James tells us that we should be slow to anger and have patience to listen. Also in verse 27 James tells us that the true religion is to help orphans and widows and to be away from the world’s corruption. We learn that when we are angry we should sin or harm others or swear at others. We should gave our lives to Jesus all the time because he loves us.
