From this verse we realize that Christ was not an ordinary person. He was the Word of God and was with God before the creation of the world. The Word, which is Christ, existed in the beginning. Before the world was formed, Christ existed. Christ was with God before the beginning. God has no beginning; He has always existed. And God has always had his "Word" with him. God has never been without the "Word." Christ was not only with God but he was God. Christ is not only the Son of God, but also God himself. Christ is God in the form of a man. God, I Am Not Blaspheming... (A Message of Love)
In the midst of pain and suffering, we ask "Where are you, God?" and "Do you care about me?". God often feels distant and that he does not understand us. The poet says, "If only you had become a human being, you would then understand me." In John 1, we see that indeed answer this question. In the person of Jesus, we see the fulness of the deity and the character of God. God does understand us. The cares for us.

Freedom in Christ

Freedom in Christ (The Breeze of Worship)
God Almighty, who is a merciful God, if we seek refuge in Him and ask Him to deliver us from our pain, He will set us free. This God who frees us from our delusional fantasies is a god who is free and worthy of worship. This God must have freed us from humiliation, rejection, unseen, and bitterness in our lives. He has freed us from the society that has rejected us, from the families that have left us, from the hands of loved ones who do not understand us, and from the bitterness that surrounds us all. He must have enriched our fruitless lives so that by seeing that fruit, others can change their view of us.

Salvation From Sin, Eternal Death and God's Wrath

Salvation From Sin, Eternal Death and God's Wrath (With You)
The only one who saves man from sin, eternal death and God's wrath is Jesus Christ. He is the sacrificial lamb whose blood washes away the sins of erring human beings. Jesus can do this because he was without sin, completely innocent, and pure. He is the Saviour that God had said would come. He is the promised Messiah that all the Jews hoped and waited for.

Jesus Is the Sacrificial Passover Lamb

Jesus Is the Sacrificial Passover Lamb (Peace and Joy in Christ)
The meaning of the word Passover is liberation or freedom and salvation. During the time of Moses, the Jews were in slavery in the land of Egypt under the captivity of Pharaoh; God miraculously saved his chosen people from slavery. Today, we Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ instead of the Jewish Passover. Jesus Christ, our sacrificial lamb, was crucified during the Passover for our salvation and freedom. Jesus Christ himself became our Passover and saved us by sacrificing himself.

Eid al-Adha and Sacrifice (With You)
Jesus Christ came to this world to save mankind. This was essential because without redemption and forgiveness of sins, we cannot become children of God. For the redemption of mankind, it was necessary that God's only Son, Jesus Christ, should come to this world and be sacrificed to pay the great price of our sins. It was necessary for God the Father to sacrifice Jesus Christ so that his blood could be the payment for our salvation. Jesus Christ is the perfect sacrifice. This sacrifice is once and for all.

Did Jesus Christ Die on the Cross? (With You)
The purpose of Jesus' death was for us to have eternal life. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. He came to sacrifice his life for many. Who did Christ give his life for? For all those who believe in him. "Having faith" has a very deep meaning. It means to believe completely and deeply; It means being totally dependent on Christ, it means trusting him and not yourself. If our faith does not lead to obedience to Christ, it is a false faith. What kind of life does Christ give? He gives eternal life. Eternal life does not just mean a life that lasts forever. Eternal life means life with God, a life full of joy, peace and justice. It is a life without tears, sorrow or pain. Eternal life is the heavenly reward and inheritance for all those who believe in Jesus.

The Perfect Sacrifice

The Perfect Sacrifice (With You)
Jewish people used to sacrifice animals to God to atone for their sins. The animal was used as a ransom for sin. The guilt of the nation was removed by this animal sacrifice, bringing divine forgiveness. In the same way, Christ was sacrificed to "take away" the sin of the world, the sins of all those who believe in him. He was the lamb that was taken to the altar and slain. He was the lamb that the prophet Isaiah prophesied about. He was the sacrifice for sin, and through this sacrifice, believers are cleansed of their sins once and for all! John the Baptizer knew that Jesus was not only the promised Messiah, but also the Lamb of God who would wash away all the sins of the world. Christ's sacrifice was so great that it enables all people to be cleansed. This was only possible because Christ was the only Son of God. Christ came as the saviour to bring salvation to mankind.

Sometimes as believers and followers of Christ, we lose our true identity, value, and position, and unconsciously let Satan control our thoughts and minds.
