How Can We Grow in Our Christian Lives?

How Can We Grow in Our Christian Lives? (With You)
Christians who have been cleansed from sin and pride can bear good fruit for God. Jesus Christ said, “Abide in me, and I in you.” Abiding in Christ means loving him, obeying him, praying to him. In other words, abiding in Christ means being connected and in constant spiritual communion with him, just as a branch is connected to the vine. If we are thus connected to Christ, we will be living branches. And just as the sap of the vine flows through the branches and gives them life, so the Spirit of Christ flows through us, giving us spiritual life. To bear fruit, we must abide in Christ. If we do not abide in Christ, we will bear no fruit. Rather, we will wither and die.

Why Is the Root of Bitterness So Destructive?

Why Is the Root of Bitterness So Destructive? (Peace and Joy in Christ)
We can grieve the Spirit of God with our lifestyle and bitterness in our lives. The apostle Paul warns us against harsh words and bad behaviour towards others. Instead, forgive others as God has forgiven us in Christ. The purpose of this test was that if a husband is suspicious of his wife, it should be resolved, not ruined. This test showed that the trust between husband and wife has been completely destroyed. There is no life without good and bad, but it is better for us to have a counsellor with God. Let us try to remove bitterness from our lives. Instead, let us give grace to ourselves and others.

Freedom in Christ

Freedom in Christ (The Breeze of Worship)
God Almighty, who is a merciful God, if we seek refuge in Him and ask Him to deliver us from our pain, He will set us free. This God who frees us from our delusional fantasies is a god who is free and worthy of worship. This God must have freed us from humiliation, rejection, unseen, and bitterness in our lives. He has freed us from the society that has rejected us, from the families that have left us, from the hands of loved ones who do not understand us, and from the bitterness that surrounds us all. He must have enriched our fruitless lives so that by seeing that fruit, others can change their view of us.

Faith and Action

Faith and Action (With You)
It is very easy to say, “I have faith”, but faith that is only in words is useless. We must ask ourselves, “Do I have true faith?” We are saved only by true faith. How do we know if our faith is real or not? The way to recognize this is easy. Our actions show us if our faith is true or not. The truth of our faith will be proved by acts of love and obedience. If good works do not accompany our faith, then that faith is empty, and it has no power to save anyone. True faith is like love, which must be demonstrated by loving works.

Girls in Black Veils in Society

Girls in Black Veils in Society (With You)
Women and girls shouldn’t wear black veils, darkening their world because of men’s lack of self-control. It is a man’s moral responsibility to have self-control. Men, particularly Taliban or Mujahideen, who claim, “We are fighting in God’s way”, should control their own eyes and ears. They should not give in to their sinful nature when they see a woman’s hair or simply hear the clicking of a lady’s high heels. Human beings are the highest form of God’s creation. We should not be like animals that cannot control themselves when they see the opposite sex.

Do You Want to Enter the Kingdom of God?

Do You Want to Enter the Kingdom of God? (Peace and Joy in Christ)
A follower of Jesus must live a pure life. Therefore, our life and behaviour should be pure and holy. He should avoid rude and impure jokes or rude, insulting and humiliating words. Jokes that humiliate a nation and a tribe or a class of people are not worthy of the lips and tongue of a Christian. Apostle Paul provides us with a list of sins that separate us from God. Let us carefully consider each of these sins of our flesh. Do we see the existence of one or more sins in our life? How quickly we see sin in the lives of others! But what a problem it is to observe sin in our own life! We are always pure and innocent in our opinion. But we should not look at the sins of others. Rather, we should only be aware of our sins. Let's ask the Holy Spirit to make us aware of our hidden sins.
