How Do We Relate to God, Our Creator?

How Do We Relate to God, Our Creator? (The Breeze of Worship)
Is the Almighty God worthy of the glory of our Creator, we love and worship Him for His sake, or for His blessings or to meet our needs? One of the shortcomings of us humans is that many of us can't love anyone without content, and that's what has affected our relationship with God. For this reason, instead of focusing all our thoughts and attention on God, who is holy, we usually focus on His blessings that come to us. We should worship Him because of His holiness and our Creator.

Are You Blessed? Part II

Are You Blessed? Part II (With You)
People crave pleasure, happiness and the fulfillment of many desires, but they are not satisfied. If a person is looking for happiness, he will not find it. But if he seeks justice first, he will find both justice and happiness. We must keep ourselves hungering and thirsting for justice. As long as we continue to be hungry, God will continue to feed us. When we have justice and righteousness, then we can stand against sin and do what is right.

What Is a Fast That God Likes?

What Is a Fast That God Likes? (Peace and Joy in Christ)
In Christianity, during fasting, the focus and purpose is worship and prayer and closeness to the presence of God, not the issue of eating. The Bible does not command Christians to fast. At the same time, the Bible presents fasting as good, beneficial and useful. The followers of Christ do not fast for the purpose of righteousness and austerity or salvation from sin, because salvation was provided by the shedding of Christ's blood on the cross. Fasting is being humble and close to God so that our rebellious ego is weakened and suppressed. May our prayer and worship be stronger and more effective.

About Fasting

About Fasting (With You)
Jesus Christ approved fasting which was done for the right reasons. Christians fast to humble themselves before God. It is a spiritual discipline. By fasting Christians seek to receive more guidance and power from the Holy Spirit. Christians do not fast in order to be forgiven and gain salvation—so that they can be pardoned on the day of judgement. The prophet Isaiah said that the fasting that pleases God is humility and acts of kindness. Without humility and loving actions, fasting is just an empty pretence.

True Fasting

True Fasting (With You)
In Christianity, the purpose of fasting is not just to eat and drink water, but to deepen our relationship with God the Creator. We want to fast with God, either to hear God's voice on a particular subject or to receive a prayer answer. We also determine the type of fasting. For example, "Some people decide not to eat anything for 4 days and drink only a little water, and some people decide to eat only simple food for a few days or, for example, they do not eat or drink anything from morning to noon." To better understand the issue, we invite you to listen to this program. Thanks!

Warning to the Rich

Warning to the Rich (With You)
When we look at these verses, we see how the rich exploit the helpless and oppressed. They take advantage of their energy and hard work, and do not pay them. God hears the cries of such people and sends pain and suffering to the rich who love money. From these verses we learn that whether we are employers or workers, we must recognize that God is present in our lives, and we must do what is right.

The Lord's Prayer

The Lord's Prayer (Children's Bible Stories)
Prayer was very important and worthy to Jesus. He prayed all the time. He taught his disciples how to pray; told them that whenever you pray, try to do not be like those who show up themselves while praying. Pray to God quietly in a proper situation. Always start your prayers by the name of Father. Glorify his name and ask for his kingdom. Ask God for your daily bread in your prayer. And also end your prayer by his name.

Prayer - Fellowship With God

Prayer - Fellowship With God (With You)
Prayer is talking to God and confiding in Him. When we pray, God is more interested in our hearts than in our words. In prayer, we should bring what we have in our hearts to God, not just repeat the words we have memorized to God or words that we don’t understand. In prayer, God is more interested in establishing a relationship with us than anything else. He wants words that come from the bottom of our hearts, not just special formal words.

Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness (Reflections on Life 2)
Why it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that man is justified? The Bible tells us that only Jesus Christ can free us from the bondage of sin and death. A freedom that was not possible to be paid for in mortal things like gold and silver but with the precious blood of Christ, who was sacrificed in our place like a perfect lamb. (1 Peter 1: 18-19)
