Who Is Responsible for the Shooting in Washington, D.C.? (With You)
Both a crime and the one who comits it are reprehensible and despicable, but it is even worse to attribute the terrible act of a criminal to the entire nation and the country in which he was born. Everyone in a society should not be punished because of the actions of one individual. They should not be held responsible for the behaviour of a criminal, and made to feel insecure and in danger.

Relating to Returning Refugees

Relating to Returning Refugees (With You)
The migrants or refugees who have been, and are being forcibly expelled from Pakistan and Iran have been away from their homeland for many years. When they come home, most of them have no house or shelter. Many of them go to the homes of their friends and relatives until they find a place of their own. Those who accommodate them and offer hospitality should try not to ruin their relationships with them, or interfere in their daily lives. These guests may be with them only for a week or a month. After that, they will find their own places. It is better to keep friendship and relationships intact.

Eid al-Fitr

Eid al-Fitr (With You)
As followers of Jesus Christ, we should rejoice in the happiness of our friends and neighbours, and we should be moved by their sadness. This is what a Christian should do. Of course, we do this not out of compulsion, but from the heart and in all sincerity. This attitude brings us closer to our dear friends. This spirit makes it more easy and natural for us to introduce ourselves to them as Christians. A Christian should be part of his community.

Peace With the Environment

Peace With the Environment (With You)
Love for our environment, and care for it, is a very important part of life. Proper use of natural resources--especially mines, forests, and animal life--is one of the duties of every human being on earth. Not only should we be thankful for all the things that God has created for our use, but we should also take care of them. We must not senselessly hunt animals and birds.

Peace With Our Fellow Man

Peace With Our Fellow Man (With You)
Just as a father or mother devotes themselves to serving their children, we should also be ready to dedicate ourselves to others. A Christian must love all people. Christians must love others in the same way that Christ loved us. A person who has love respects others. Someone who loves his brother or sister will protect their dignity and respect. We should always consider others better than ourselves. If we follow this simple principle, there will never be any division between us and our families.

Khan Wali: A Man Who Breaks the Tradition

Khan Wali: A Man Who Breaks the Tradition (Colour of Life)
The reprehensible custom of giving child brides to settle disputes is common in our country. Khan Wali is a man who objects to outrageous and shocking customs like this in his native Paktiya. He wants to abolish these practices not only from his own province, but from the whole country. He relates some painful stories from his home province. Girls in Afghanistan who are given as peace offerings are not treated as human beings when they enter the home of their enemies. They are viewed as enemies and murders. They are beaten every day. They are forced to do hard labour. They suffer in other cruel ways and often die in mysterious circumstances. And these acts are all considered acceptable in a “compensation marriage”. All these cruel acts are criminal, abhorrent and inhuman.
