Eid al-Fitr

Eid al-Fitr (With You)
As followers of Jesus Christ, we should rejoice in the happiness of our friends and neighbours, and we should be moved by their sadness. This is what a Christian should do. Of course, we do this not out of compulsion, but from the heart and in all sincerity. This attitude brings us closer to our dear friends. This spirit makes it more easy and natural for us to introduce ourselves to them as Christians. A Christian should be part of his community.

Peace With the Environment

Peace With the Environment (With You)
Love for our environment, and care for it, is a very important part of life. Proper use of natural resources--especially mines, forests, and animal life--is one of the duties of every human being on earth. Not only should we be thankful for all the things that God has created for our use, but we should also take care of them. We must not senselessly hunt animals and birds.

Peace With Our Fellow Man

Peace With Our Fellow Man (With You)
Just as a father or mother devotes themselves to serving their children, we should also be ready to dedicate ourselves to others. A Christian must love all people. Christians must love others in the same way that Christ loved us. A person who has love respects others. Someone who loves his brother or sister will protect their dignity and respect. We should always consider others better than ourselves. If we follow this simple principle, there will never be any division between us and our families.

Khan Wali: A Man Who Breaks the Tradition

Khan Wali: A Man Who Breaks the Tradition (Colour of Life)
The reprehensible custom of giving child brides to settle disputes is common in our country. Khan Wali is a man who objects to outrageous and shocking customs like this in his native Paktiya. He wants to abolish these practices not only from his own province, but from the whole country. He relates some painful stories from his home province. Girls in Afghanistan who are given as peace offerings are not treated as human beings when they enter the home of their enemies. They are viewed as enemies and murders. They are beaten every day. They are forced to do hard labour. They suffer in other cruel ways and often die in mysterious circumstances. And these acts are all considered acceptable in a “compensation marriage”. All these cruel acts are criminal, abhorrent and inhuman.

New Life in Christ

New Life in Christ (With You)
No other religion calls its followers anything like the expression “a new creation”, which is used in the Bible for those who believe the message of Jesus Christ. When a person is in Christ, he becomes a new person. He is a new creation. Old person has been crucified with Christ and a "new creation" comes into being. Just as a branch is part of a tree, in the same way believers must be in Christ. Only then will we experience this new life.

Christ the Way of Peace

Christ the Way of Peace
History is the story of human conflict, violence and war. But it’s not that the human heart doesn’t long for peace or that many individuals haven’t devoted themselves to trying to mediate conflicts and promote peace. Those who work ceaselessly for peace are to be applauded. But their efforts are too often in vain.

Teachings of Jesus Christ About Loving Enemies

Teachings of Jesus Christ About Loving Enemies
But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.

 Sin

Sin (Cry of Woman)
Wanting to take revenge is something that causes more evil among us. According to the Bible revenge has never been a good solution. Because revenge does not solve but only increases the problem. Revenge has never been the solution throughout history. True followers of Jesus don’t even think about revenge because their hearts are full of love and forgiveness. Therefore, there is no need for revenge. God will judge all injustices. Taking revenge is not the way of Jesus. He has replaced it with forgiveness and love.
