Sacrifice and Eid al-Adha

Sacrifice and Eid al-Adha (With You)
The priest in the Old Testament could redeem himself and his people only by offering a sacrifice for his own sins and the sins of the rest of the people. It was for this reason that God commanded the Jews to sprinkle the blood of the sacrificed animal on everything inside the sacred Tent. In the same way, in the new covenant, people will be cleansed only by the shedding of the blood of a perfect and spotless sacrifice. This is why Jesus Christ shed his holy blood-to cleanse us from our sins. Christ's redemption was once and for all. There is no need to repeat this sacrifice. Jesus Christ has completely paid for all our sins through his death.

The Place of the Law in Our Lives

The Place of the Law in Our Lives (With You)
Let us remember that, just as the parents or elders of the family teach the children of the family the difference between good and bad, the law also informs us about the moral nature of our actions. Although even without law, we are more or less able to recognize the difference between good and bad, and to know God in a limited way, most of our knowledge about good and evil comes through the teachings of the law. For example, the last commandment of the Ten Commandments of Moses says: “Do not covet.” If this commandment had not been given to us, we would never have known that coveting is a sin. But fulfilling the law does not save a person.

Will the Law Save Us?

Will the Law Save Us? (With You)
The Jews believed that obeying the law would save them and make them righteous. But the apostle Paul declares here that “in God’s sight, no person will be justified by obeying the rules of the law”. The reason for this claim is clear: no one can completely obey the law. Only those who observe the whole law in very detail will be considered righteous. But completely obeying God’s law is impossible. The law was given so that everyone, whether Jew or non-Jew, would know that no one could keep it. In this way it would be proven to everyone that all Jews and non-Jews are sinners in the sight of God. The law informs us of our sin and guilt. The law reminds us how high the standards of God are and how far we have fallen short of those standards.

What Is the Difference Between the Freedom of the Country and the Real Freedom? (Peace and Joy in Christ)
Everyone is looking for freedom. Freedom is the greatest virtue, especially those who are oppressed or consider themselves oppressed seek it. What is real freedom? According to the model of the Bible, he is free who has Jesus as King of his heart and will enjoy his joy and peace in life, this true freedom never before becoming a Christian; I did not know myself. The Bible says that no one is spiritually free!

God's Grace

God's Grace (With You)
Grace is the gift of God's salvation to us which we receive freely through Jesus Christ. By faith we accept this gift. Believing does not mean that we do something. Rather, it means that we accept God's gift of salvation by faith. Faith itself is a gift from God. Faith comes into being by hearing the Word of God. We cannot gain faith by our own efforts.

God's Law

God's Law (With You)
The law was a complete foundation of laws and rules that God gave the Prophet Moses to communicate to the people of Israel. The law included specific and binding details that the people of Israel were expected to keep as their part in the covenant of Mount Sinai. It is important to understand why God gave the law to the people of Israel, as well as the relationship between the law and the Abrahamic covenant. We have said that the covenant that God had established with Abraham was unconditional. This covenant was fully based on God's grace. There was nothing Abraham had to do to be chosen by God and to be a part of the covenant with him.

Taste and See That God Is Good

Taste and See That God Is Good (The Breeze of Worship)
Atonement literally means something with which to atone for sin, and also words such as atonement and punishment are synonymous with the word atonement, and in the Bible this word is a special practice to get rid of God's wrath against sin and human punishment. It is performed and refers to the way God has provided for the forgiveness of human sins, which is usually done by sacrificing an animal and shedding its blood.

Why Is the Gospel the "Good News"?

Why Is the Gospel the "Good News"? (With You)
Do you know what the word "Injil" means? The word "Injil" means good news. So, the question in this programme is when we speak about the "Injil" or the Good News, what are we talking about? The Holy Gospel is the Good News that the God, who is the creator and sustainer of the universe, is a just and merciful God. He looked upon sinful and hopeless humans with mercy and sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh, to take upon Himself on the cross the wrath of God against sin and to display the power of God over sin by his resurrection from the death, so that whoever has faith in Him would find reconciliation with God.

Were the Prophets sinless? (With You)
Some of our friends have asked us this question: Have the prophets sinned? In this program, from the Holy Scriptures we see that all prophets truly sinned and the Word of God does not try to lighten this fact. The Word of God says: "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", Holy Gospel, Romans 3:23. The only person did not sin in History is Jesus Christ. No one can deny this. And anyone who puts their faith in Jesus will be saved from their sins.
